A Discussion and information about: Kick off for social development

A discussion about the ways sports can help with social development. A joint event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa, streetfootballworld and the Jacobs Foundation.

The minister of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa  Cassandra Mbuyane-Mokone started the discussion. Kirk Friedrich of the organization Grassroot Soccer discussed with Jürgen Griesbeck of streetfootballworld, Constanze Lullies of the Jacobs Foundation, Ulrike Meier of the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) and Matias Bendersky of the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) how sports can contribute to social development. They also introduced various projects that have already started and gave some forecast to future programs.
